Shockwave Jet Truck
The Shockwave Jet Truck is what happens when a Peterbilt truck and a jet plane decide to have a baby. This truck which was built by Les Shockley in 1984, is celebrating its 30th Anniversary with a series of exhibition events and is driven or rather piloted by owner Neal Darnell who is probably one of the bravest men alive.
This juggernaut is powered by three Pratt & Whitney J34-48 jet engines which produce a whooping 36,000 horsepower and the Shockwave currently holds the Guinness record of the world's fastest jet-powered truck after reaching a speed of 376 miles per hour.
The truck will clock zero to 300 mph in about 11 seconds and will probably be the last thing you will want to be struck behind in a traffic jam.
