BXR Bailey Blade XTR
The BXR Bailey Blade XTR from American company BXR Motors is proof that small car makers can still run with the big boys. BXR Motors aims “to revitalize and recreate the image of what an America supercar should be” and former web designer and BXR President Neil Bailey’s inspiration for the BXR Bailey Blade XTR is drawn from classic American muscle cars and exotics.
The car has a manual six speed transmission and is powered by a 5.0L 4V (Coyote) TI-VCT engine which you can find in the Ford Mustang. Twin turbochargers are added which push the power to a whopping 750+ horsepower and 700 ft.lb. of torque.
There are no performance figures yet but with that kind of power available and with a planned carbon fibre body, there is little doubt that the car will be fast.
The BXR Bailey Blade XTR is scheduled for a limited production in 2014 and you will need to make a reservation in order to get one. There is no word on pricing bet it is rumored to cost from $250,000.
